Mount Murud @ Ba Kelalan"Off - Beaten trek.

Close to the Indonesia border in the North-eastern corner of Sarawak and dominate by Gunung Murud are the Lun Bawang @ Kelabit highlands the highest in habitated area in of Borneo. Murut, Lun Bawang, Kelabit and Sabahan people are live in the long house at attitude of 3700 ft above sea level. Wet padi farming is the main source of food, supplemented by hunting and the cultivation of fruit,vegetables and medical plants of local use. Today Ba Kelalan nearby Bario of the Kelabit highland,consist of several long house and number of dwelling several shop, home stay,school, clinic and Military post. Mount Murud is one of the highest mountain in Sarawak has few off-beaten trek into the forest.

Day 01- Lawas / Ba Kelalan
After Breakfast Overland transfer using 4x4WD to Ba Kelalan which take about 6 hours,arrive in Ba Kelalan valley in midday and proceed straight for check in at Ba Kelalan Inn for over night.Lunch at the Inn and have this afternoon to rest and relax,evening walk around the valley for visit the apple farm and experience lifestyle of the Lun Bawang tribe. ( B/fast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 02 - Ba Kelalan / Lepo Bunga
After breakfast overland drive to camp Lepo Bunga from there Climbing and hiking to SIB church which take about 5 hours arrive in SIB church hut for over night.Weather permit the scenery you will have a great view of Indonesia,Batu Lawi, Mount Mulu and catch the glimpse of the evening sunset. ( B/fast , Pack Lunch, Dinner)

Day 03 - SIB Church Hut / Mount Murud Summit/ SIB Church / Pa Labata Hut.
After an early breakfast,from the hut continue trekking to highest peak 7946ft spend some time to explore the beauty of the highest mountain of Sarawak and catch the morning scenery with the view surrounding Ba Kelalan Basin , Bario Basin and the peak of Batu Lawi ,after lunch descend to the foot of the mountain and overnight at Pa Labata Hut. ( B/fast, Pack Lunch and Dinner)

Day 04 - Pa Labata Hut, Merarap Hotspring Lodge (option> or take a flight from Ba Kelalan to Bario or Lawas )

Transfer using 4x4WD which take about 3 hours journey to Melerap hotspring resort check in and rest and relax of the day free at own leisure

Day 05 - Merarap Hotspring Lodge, Lawas

After Breakfast transfer by 4x4WD to Lawas airport for your connecting flight to Miri or drive off to Kota Kinabalu city.

Day 01- Kota Kinabalu City / Sandakan / Sepilok / Sukau and Danum Valley

Take early flight from KK for fly out to Sandakan, meet and drive to Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary for a visit of the Wild man of Borneo. After lunch transfer by caoch to a boat Jetty,from there take a boat cruise along the Kinabatangan River and it is one of the longest river at 560km long in Sabah and Malaysia's second longest river. Much of the lower Kinabatangan River is gazetted under the Kinabatangan Wildlife Santuary and it meanders through a flood plain creating numerous ox-box lakes making it an ideal environment for some of the best wildlife and birdlife found in Malaysia.Over night at Sukau Rainforest Lodge Borneo.

After spend 2 nights at the Kinabatangan River @ Sukau Basin, from here we procceed for overland drive 2 hours journey to Lahad Datu to get permit at Borneo Nature Tours Sdn Bhd Operation office.after lunch then procceed by 4wd 2 hours to Danum Valley and check in at Borneo Rainforest Lodge that we spend 3 days / 2 nights.
